Peter Bell & Associates, LLC
Peter Bell, President, is a veteran of the executive search and interim placement fields. He has specialized in the areas of public relations, investor relations and corporate communications since 1992.

 

He formed his company, Peter Bell & Associates, LLC, in 2001 to serve both corporate and agency clients on a nationwide basis. Assignments have included communications professionals in virtually every industry classification.

 

Prior to founding Peter Bell & Associates, LLC, Peter served as President of search firm Goldman+Bell for five years and earlier was the first Director of Cantor Concern Staffing Options. He previously held management positions in the apparel-manufacturing and solar-heating industries. Peter has served as the chairman of the Career Development Committee for the New York chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and is often a featured speaker at industry seminars.

 

He is a graduate of the National University of Mexico in Mexico City. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Viet Nam and lives with his wife in New York City.

Barry Piatoff

Senior Vice President of Peter Bell & Associates, LLC, has worked in public relations, communications and investor relations executive search since 1997. Prior to that, he spent nearly two decades as an Accountant, mainly in the insurance industry. He finds this work much more interesting.

In the past 13 years, Barry has placed people in communications positions in consumer products, retail, food/wine/spirits, fashion, beauty, lifestyles, technology, financial services, professional services, insurance, entertainment, manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare and non-profits. His specialty is mid-to-senior level jobs in the New York City metropolitan area, though Barry has also found people senior-level positions in California, Florida, Massachusetts and Virginia.

 

Barry was born in Oklahoma but only lived there for a year. Since then, he has spent his entire life in New York. He has been married (to the same woman!) for over 20 years and they have a wonderful dog that keeps them young!

During the day Barry does his best to find his clients the perfect employee and find candidates their dream job. At nights and on weekends, in addition to spending time with his wife and dog, he enjoys travel, attending pop/rock concerts, baseball, music, politics, going to a great steak restaurant, having a drink or two with friends, corresponding with interesting people, checking out what is happening online and if anything good is on, he watches television.

Barry has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College and studied Marketing & Human Resources at New York University.
