SVP-Pharmaceutical Public Relations
Our client is a midsize (about 25 people) established pharmaceutical and healthcare public relations firm. They are part of a much larger global network of communications companies. It’s a midsize firm with the resources of an industry powerhouse. Established about 20 years ago, this pr firm has a good reputation for treating their clients and employees well.
They are looking to add a Senior Vice President. You’ll mainly focus on one big name client and their product. Manage a team of people. Looking for someone who is a VP ready to become an SVP or an SVP ready to make a move. Must have pharmaceutical, biotech or life science pr agency experience.
Salary $150K-$175K. Manhattan location.

Pharmaceutical Public Relations-Account Supervisor for Media Relations-New York, NY
Our client is a boutique healthcare public relations firm specializing in pre-launch, approval and post-approval product communications for the pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty pharma and medical devices industry. The firm is over a decade old and has about a dozen people.
They are looking to add an Account Supervisor to work on media relations. We have worked with this client in the past, they’re very good people, and they are willing to hire quickly. Experience with CNS (central nervous system) or oncology media relations is a plus but will consider anyone with a pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences or medical devices communications background. The position is located in Manhattan. Salary $70K-$85K.

Group Account Director-Public Relations-Pittsburgh, PA (Will Relocate)
Our client is an independent, integrated communications agency that has been around since the 1950s, and in total has 300 people. They have about a dozen people working exclusively in public relations.
There is a need for a Group Account Director to come in and manage the current public relations accounts and be a resource when the company’s other clients need public relations counsel.
Your role would be to provide coaching, guidance and leadership to the team, while maintaining high level relationships with all Public Relations clients. You will play a leadership role in integrating Public Relations into the total marketing mix. This position is located in Pittsburgh.
In addition to being a strong leader and managing a team, you are expected to be “hands-on” and interact with the media and do some writing, as needed. The accounts have a consumer focus but you must be knowledgeable in the latest technology trends (i.e. blogging, social media, e-commerce, etc.). You will be the public relations lead on new business. Overnight travel is about 15%-20%. Reports to a Director who has been with the company for 25 years.

Our client is an established 15 person public relations firm, with a niche in spirits and luxury public relations . They are looking to add an Account Supervisor to work on a spirits account. In addition to product public relations, you’ll be doing some design and humanitarian projects.

Healthcare Public Relations- Essex County, NJ
Our client is a four year old, 14 person healthcare public relations firm in Essex County, New Jersey. They have been growing and are looking to add a seasoned public relations professional that is tired of the commute to Manhattan, or wants to advance their healthcare public relations career in New Jersey. The town is 15 miles from Manhattan and is accessible via public transportation. This firm doesn’t believe in titles, but it would be equivalent to a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor at most public relations agencies. You should have approximately 4-6+ years experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare public relations.
The projects range from health policy, writing, public speaking, consumer public relations, sports marketing, celebrity campaigns, corporate communications, etc., but there is a healthcare angle to all their business.
Duties include:
*Lead fully integrated client teams on direct-to-consumer PR and integrated marketing campaigns.
*Spearhead brainstorming sessions and client meetings.
*Strategize and manage national and grassroots media relations programs.
*Play an important role in new business efforts.
*Act as liaison with third-party partners, including graphic designers, video production companies, advertising firms, etc.
