Head of Public Relations for Technology/Financial-Related Company-New York, NY
Our client is an international organization that makes technology products for the financial services industry. They are a well-recognized brand in their field. At this time they are looking to add someone to lead their global Public Relations in their midtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities:
*Structure a comprehensive media strategy for the company, implementing a plan that optimizes awareness and recognition of the company in the media and amongst the analyst community across the globe.
*Publicize a consistent corporate message and image to major media and analyst organizations while developing and nurturing key relationships.
*Develop a comprehensive Global PR plan that is tightly integrated with the company’s overall Marketing and Product campaign strategies.
*Identify and evaluate current company/industry activities and identify trends which present major public relations/press opportunities/implications for the company.
*Craft compelling press releases, pitches, bylines, award submissions, reports, and more.
*Evaluate and orchestrate participation in media interviews and speaking engagements; lead media coaching to ensure key messages are adequately represented.
*Identify, track and report key metrics to validate the relevance and business impact of media/analyst programs.
*Develop third party PR agency scope of work and manage teams’ activities to meet strategic goals in US, Europe and APAC.
*Lead inter-departmental communications between New York Office and Corporate, as well as with regional EU and APAC Marketing and Sales organizations.
Requirements:
*Approximately 8-12 years technology and financial services pr focus.
*Strong rolodex of industry relationships in technology and financial services.
*Strong business acumen with the ability to direct and manage various tactical initiatives across the globe in a strategically integrated manner.
*Stellar track record showcasing increasing responsibility, preferably in a small to mid-sized organization.
*Exceptional writing and editing skills a must, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling business messages.
*Expert presentation, communication, and relationship development skills, leading to the development of strong internal/external alliances.
*Highly organized, detail-oriented style and deadline-focused commitment.
*Proven self-motivator with a ‘start-up’ mentality and strong sense of personal accountability.

Public Relations Managing Director-NY Office of UK Headquarted Pharma Agency-New York, NY
Our client is an established UK-headquartered pharma pr agency with an established New York office in midtown Manhattan. They have a large parent holding company so you will have major financial resources to back you up.
They are looking for a Managing Director to take their boutique-sized agency to the next level and turn them into a midsize pr firm. The position is 50% strategic counsel, managing and mentoring a relatively a staff and operations and the other 50% will be new business development. You are not expected to bring clients with you, but should have the hunger and desire to get on the phone, do new business presentations and bring in the business. The agency believes in looking at things from a client’s perspective, having respect for people, being the type of agency everyone wants to work for as they become an influential healthcare pr agency in the U.S We’ve met the people and they are genuine.
Should have at least 15 years experience, most of which should be in pr agencies, focusing of pharma pr with knowledge of biotech, medical technologies, consumer health, etc. Broad-based exposure to business development, consultative selling, marketing, proposal planning, operations, financials, budgeting. Proven track record in growing and winning business.

Employee Communications Manager for Investment Bank-New York, NY
Our client is a well-known investment bank headquartered in downtown Manhattan. Due to growth and an increased workload, there is a need for an Employee Communications Manager to come in and help the SVP, Human Resources to engage and inform the company’s employees. You will come up with creative methods to get ideas across. There is lots of interaction with senior management but you need to be mature enough to work alone.
You will play a key role in the development and implementation of employee engagement & communications programs for Human Resources. This position is also responsible for managing internal HR communications that promote a high-performance culture and supports the effective flow of information to all employees.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced communications specialist with strong program development and writing skills. This job requires the ability to think programmatically and execute tactically as well as work with and manage the expectations of a wide variety of constituents. Projects will require this person's hands-on involvement from beginning to end.
Responsibilities:
*Work closely with the SVP, Human Resources to design and implement communications strategies to drive better business results through employee engagement, focus and commitment.
*Partner with HR colleagues and business clients to improve message coordination on company goals, employee news and senior management messages that support employee engagement and company values.
*Serve as the key resource for internal HR communications best practices and branding so that appropriate guidelines are being followed.
*Develop internal communications strategies for key initiatives and events that inform, engage, and motivate employees.
*Monitor the effectiveness of communications through measurement tools.
Qualifications:
*A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in internal communications and/or human resources communications. Preference is someone out of financial services or another heavily regulated industry.
*Experience managing and developing inter/intranet content, tactics and tools to reach employees in impactful ways will be highly-valued.
*Excellent written and communication skills; writing samples required.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines.
*Ability to work in a team-oriented culture and independently.
*Professional demeanor and comfort in engaging senior management and working with employees at all levels of the firm.
