Our client is a major financial-related company in downtown Manhattan. They are looking to add a Director of Internal Communications. Reporting to the VP, Internal Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and directing strategic employee communication strategies and related activities within the organization. The three main components of the job are managing the Intranet page (40%), drafting a communications strategy and plan (40%) and event Management (20%). The position leads a team of two employees and coordinates global efforts with team members in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities:
Initiate, create and execute company and line of business communications plans and strategies
Develop, write and edit internal employee communications that drive the company’s priorities
Provide communications support to business partners, such as Human Resources and IT
Lead overall redevelopment of the company's internal website
Manage and oversee plans and initiatives to enhance employee engagement
Recommend strategies, produce materials and execute plans to support major initiatives and projects

Our client is a major provider of financial information for businesses and professionals giving them the knowledge to act and make better decisions faster. They are looking to add a Public Relations Director of Investors; a highly experienced and polished PR professional. The PR Director is responsible for planning, developing and implementing a comprehensive PR/communications plan for the newly created Investors customer segment. The PR Director of Investors has the gravitas to advise clients on communications strategies and initiatives, coach on media techniques/initiatives, and ultimately be considered a valued extended team member of the business team. The PR Director of Investors is skilled at forging strong relationships and earning the trust of their internal and external stakeholders. This position is located in midtown Manhattan.
To make clear, this is a public relations position not an investor relations position.
The PR Director, Investors will work closely with PR counterparts in the UK to support this large and diverse business. The individual will also work closely with regional PR counterparts in Brazil, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia to support the global aims of this business and ensure consistent and appropriate messaging. The individual will seize upon thought leadership opportunities, position key executives as experts on key industry issues, hot topics, large scale market news/announcements, and other opportunities. In addition, they will secure media profiles and media coverage of Investors business leaders, their experts, products/services, as well as highlight Investors products in media outlets as well as with industry analysts.
